Rescheduled to the rain date of Sunday, Sept. 8
Thank you for your interest in the Stone Barn Farm! Due to overwhelming interest, this event is full.

This year's fall celebration will be extra special!
Maine Coast Heritage Trust is excited to announce that we are embarking on an effort to purchase the Stone Barn Farm property in Bar Harbor. Located near the intersection of Crooked Road and Norway Drive, the property includes the iconic Stone Barn, approximately two miles of hiking trails, more than a mile of shore frontage on Northeast Creek and Fresh Meadow, and offers expansive views of nearby farms in the Emery District.
We hope you will join us on Saturday, September 7th from 1-4pm for an Open House at the Stone Barn Farm at 487 Crooked Road in Bar Harbor.
Stop by with your family and friends to:
- explore the Stone Barn and existing trails
- learn about the history of the property and plans for its use
- enjoy harvest soup, bread and cupcakes from Bar Harbor Catering and Old Dog Baking Co.
- hear local musical group Michael and the Ya Yas, featuring Michael Anderson, Phil Kell, and Beau Lisy, playing a funky twist of jazz, blues, and soul
All are welcome! This event is free and open to the public - although we do ask that you leave your four-footed friends at home. We look forward to seeing you there!
Advance online registration is recommended to help us know how many people to expect. Parking at the site is limited.
This is an iconic place that means so much to so many of us on MDI. MCHT is excited for this special conservation opportunity and we hope you are too!
