Join Maine Audubon, Maine Coast Heritage Trust, and Kennebec Estuary Land Trust on Thrusday, June 25, 2019, for a workshop geared to members, volunteers, board members, and staff of Maine land trusts on manageing woodlands "with birds in mind." The workshop takes place at the Sewall Woods Preserve on Whiskeag Road in Bath.
The Forestry for Maine Birds (FFMB) approach integrates bird conservation into
forest management and planning.
In this evening workshop, you will learn about:
• Improve habitat for priority forest birds and a
variety of other wildlife species
• Incorporating bird-friendly pactices into preserve management
• Addressing wildlif conservation in multiple areas
• Enhancing the value and enjoyment of Maine forest preserves
for many generations to come.

What to Bring:
Please bring sturdy walking shoes, snacks, and drinking water. Please dress for the weather.
Take High Street North out of Bath. Turn left onto Whiskeag Rd. Enter through gateposts on the right for parking
Come spend the day on Long Island in the town of Frenchboro. The day includes a guided hike through the Frenchboro Preserve to learn about the island wildlife and a visit to the island museum.Learn more
